Cookie Policy

Which cookies ReelKit Studio uses, why they are set and how you can change your choice at any time.

Last updated: 26 September 2026Applies to: ReelKit Studio

This page explains, in plain language, the rules and practices that apply to ReelKit Studio (ReelKit Studio). We keep it short on purpose and avoid legal jargon where a normal sentence works better.

1. Cookies in short

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. ReelKit Studio uses as few as possible: one to remember your consent choice, and a small set of optional measurement cookies that help us see which guides are read most. We do not use cookies to build personal advertising profiles.

2. Essential cookies

These are required for the website to work and cannot be switched off. They do not identify you personally.

  • cookie-consent - essential - remembers whether you chose all cookies or essential only. Stored locally in your browser.
  • session security - essential - protects forms from abuse and expires when you close the browser.
  • aggregate analytics - optional - counts page views and reading time in aggregated reports; set only after consent.

3. Optional measurement cookies

Optional cookies are only set after you choose "Accept all" in the cookie notice. They record aggregate information such as the pages viewed, the approximate region and the device type. Data is reported in aggregate and is never used to single you out. If you choose "Essential only", no measurement cookies are stored.

4. Managing your choice

You can change your decision at any time by clearing the site data in your browser: the cookie notice will appear again on your next visit. Most browsers also allow you to block or delete cookies from their settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect how parts of the site behave.

5. Third-party content

Some pages may embed video or audio players from other services. Those services can set their own cookies when a player is loaded. We keep such embeds to a minimum and place them only where a clip genuinely helps explain a technique.

6. Questions

For any question about cookies or privacy, write to [email protected]. See also our Privacy Policy.

Summary

We collect as little as possible, we do not sell data, optional cookies are only set with your consent, and you can write to [email protected] at any time with a question or request.
